Reasons to Move to Phoenix, AZ
Are you thinking of moving to Phoenix? Need something besides the fact that we have over 300 sunny days per year to convince you? Well, compared to other big, metropolitan cities in the US, our cost of living is still fairly low.
And even though our summers can be very hot, cooler temperatures are just a short, one to two hour drive up north. Our area is not prone to tornadoes, hurricanes, or earthquakes. We don’t get debilitating blizzards during the winter, either. No more shoveling snow!
If you like sports, we do not lack in that department. There is a major league baseball team in town, along with hockey, football, and both men and women’s basketball teams. Sadly enough, our basketball team has yet to win a championship….but I can still believe…GO SUNS!
Wondering where you can find a job? There are major industries here like Intel and Bank of America, along with government jobs, tons of retail jobs, and hospitality/resort jobs. Our Valley of the Sun has countless hotels, resorts, and golf courses.
If you like being outdoors during our version of winter, think 70 degree, sunny days in December, you will be able to take advantage of a favorite past time here, and that’s hiking. Our city offers numerous hiking trails from one end of the metro area to the other. Want to see what some of my favorite things about living here? Check out this video.
