Close to downtown Phoenix with one of the largest urban parks directly in your backyard, and several communities to choose from.
Just south of Baseline Road, there are several luxury home communities nestled among the foothills of South Mountain Park. Many are newer construction, although some have been there for years and have expansive yards.
One of my favorites is Arboleda Ranch near 28th street and Baseline. The homes are not your usual cookie cutter type of homes. Some have garages that are attached to the home via a breezeway. Others have river rock used on the front elevation of the home. It’s a smaller community so homes do not come up for sale very often. Although, there is one for sale there right now and it has a gorgeous gourmet kitchen.
Another one of my favorites is Highline Groves, also near 28th street and Baseline. This gated community is made up of only 37 lots. The tree-lined streets are peaceful and do not have sidewalks. For some reason, I really like the look of a neighborhood with no sidewalks. Similar to Arboleda Ranch in sales, you will not see these homes on the market very often.
Near 19th avenue and 27th avenue and the foothills of the mountain, you’ll find beautiful homes with lots of open, natural desert. There are some horse properties here, as well. If you’re looking for views that go on for miles and miles, the homes in the South Mountain area would be ideal.
Our community is unique, incredibly diverse and tight-knit There are many new businesses that are still moving into the area. We continue to grow and expand. And with any change, this brings its pros and cons with it. I have to say, though, that in my opinion, the pros definitely outweigh the cons.
