Cheatham Farms is another one of the larger subdivisions in Laveen. It is located near 51st Avenue and south of Baseline Road. The community also spans to the west side of 51st Avenue. Homes were first built here in 2003. The builders here include Continental Homes, Meritage Homes, Beazer Homes, DR Horton, and Creative Classic Communities. The Creative Classic Communities houses are of very unique architecture. They share one common wall; they are not stand alone, single family homes. The other homes in this community range from small, starter homes to bigger, move-up homes. There is a great common area that runs through the community that is ideal for biking, jogging and walking.
Cheatham Farms is conveniently close to shopping and dining and only a few miles south of I-10. It is easy and quick to get from Cheatham Farms to downtown Phoenix or to sports venues in the west valley. Like most of Laveen, the public school districts are Laveen Elementary District and the Phoenix Union High School District.
